BIOGRAPHY

Mickey Burris runs an independent and privately owned architectural studio located in the Heart of Gloucester, Virginia.  He has been practicing architecture in Gloucester for more than 16 years and has successfully designed and administered the construction of a wide variety of church, commercial and residential projects in Gloucester and the surrounding areas.

In the past Mr. Burris has been given the opportunity to work with a diverse variety of church members, commercial developers, and private citizens in developing building programs, designs and overseeing the construction process.  His experience with these clients range from the largest of expansions and renovations to the smallest of additions to existing buildings as well as completely new homes.

All projects are designed and developed using the latest version of AutoCAD technology, the industries leading developer of computer aided drafting. With this technology, Mr. Burris can provide clear, precise construction documents that are easy to read and that are understood easily by the contractors.  His office provides clients with full architectural and engineering services through his associated engineers and consultants.  Mr. Burris strives to utilize as much local talent in the area as possible, for he feels that no one knows this area as well as the people who work and live here.  Furthermore, he has developed a keen insight as to ability and craftsmanship of the local contractors and will recommend the right contractor for your project.  Additionally, Mr. Burris offers renderings and models for marketing, displaying and fund raising purposes.
